Map for Tom Tom One (Third Edition)

Hey Guys,

I've got a Tom Tom One Third Edition and i was wondering if it was still possible to buy just the south east map anywhere instead of the whole of usa map? Also, if anyone has done this before is the map easy to install?

I've got that TomTom but bought the full US maps as it more or less the same price as the SE ones and knew I would need the rest of the maps at some stage. It is very easy to install using TomTom Home software. My TomTom One v3 came with full Western Europe maps installed, so I can only have either the Europe or the US maps installed on device at any one time, I can't have both together. The most important thing is to make sure that both sets are backed up somewhere on your PC (option to do this is always offered on TomTom Home software) and then it is really easy to swap over the maps (again using TomTom Home, it does the hard work. It is also very easy to add on the POIs that you will see listed here on the DIBB from time to time as they are much more accurate that the ones already on maps. I've got lots of extra POIs (Walmarts, Targets, lots of restaurant chains, hotels, precise Disney parking lot locations and several I've added myself over the years too).

Aww thanks KK_Cat that was really helpful. I've got the HOME software already, the only map on my tom tom at the moment is the uk one. I have already copied the map to my computer, so i will most probably delete it temporarily, and then install the usa map. Will let you know how i get on
