My husband a friends husband are going on 23rd October, they only have one night to do it so we purchased them the express pass, if we were going earlier or they had a few days to cover it I wouldn’t bother

We are there pretty much the same time as you. We have the BOGOF tickets and have chosen to go on two Thursdays (I think 3rd and 10th October) as we’re hoping they will be the quietest! We will also be doing stay and scream on both nights.

This is one heck of a sweeping statement and I would take this with a pinch of salt.
I agree that it is possible to do it over two nights, but what if you can only go on a Friday and Saturday? You would be lucky to get half the houses done on both nights let alone all. If you go on what is deemed a peak night you will see a huge difference in wait times, and will likely be over an hour per house, and more than 3 hours for the popular ones. It also comes down to how you want to spend your time. If you are happy stood in a queue for 5-6 hours of the night then you will probably get a lot of houses done. But in doing this you will miss out on enjoying the scare zones and shows and the essence of what HHN is about. 1 or 2 nights and I would get an EP. More than that and Stay and Scream will work well. |

This is the fourth year for us going, and we never use the express pass for Halloween horror nights, easily doable over two nights all houses.
biggest wait we’ve ever had is an hour for a house. We’ve managed to see all the scare zones and do everything we wanted , from straight out of the holding pen as soon as it’s started , we even people watch and laugh at everybod6 getting the bejesus scared out of them by scare actors. Take your time, do half the houses one night, half the next night and do scare zones in between . Jules

We will be going on the Thursday 17th October for one night and will definitely be purchasing the express passes. We have been a few times before the last time 4 years ago, again on a Thursday. We always do stay and scream and did about 4 houses then the wait was approx 2 hours for the rest.
So this year decided it’ll be worth the passes even though they are expensive. Was going to do RIP tour but coming up as £200 extra. Can’t really justify the extra money. Edited at 08:21 PM. |
