you might have to spend the extra bucks, but it will be worth it! they last for years!

my mum had one of the original ones, it's over 20 years old and still works!

I remember my dad hitting the roof at the amount of money my mum spent on a mixer during the middle 60's ( a Kenwood Chef i think), She still has it and uses it on a weekly basis. She bought a bargain it seems and still reminds my dad of it .

Just get yourself down to John Lewis and buy it You'll feel so much better - plus don't you get a 2 year warranty from them?
