Urgent advice needed!

Hi

We're 4 days away from our first family holiday to Disney world Florida and I get a call from Thomson saying we don't have the Disney dining plan anymore! We booked the holiday nearly a year ago and they are saying there's a problem and we can't have it anymore. They're offering us £1,000 instead.

Any advice appreciated as to what to do!? There's 2 adults and 3 children. I don't think that makes up for the cost or the convenience of having the plan plus I only booked that hotel so we could get the plan! Feeling pretty stressed out now ...

What reason are they giving. Tot up your adrs and see if anywhere near then£1000 but I doubt it depending on your party size.

I would tell them since I booked a year ago then I want the Disney dining plan.

Ask them to add the dining plan on - at their cost.

Only that they were changing over systems when we first booked it so it wasnt picked up but bearing in mind we booked it June 2015 not sure why it wasn't noticed before. What about missing out on the convenience of having it etc

we spent $2400 on food in 2014 for 2 adults 3 kids (16 nights) so their offer of £1000 is not enough in my opinion

Id say it's their problem then and they need to add it.does it state ddp on your invoice anywhere ?

Absolutely unacceptable; I would fight it as much as possible. Don't accept the money, I would push them to come up with a much better alternative, or let them know that I'll be seeking legal advice (even if you don't plan on doing it!). Don't give in, terrible situation they've put you in!
