RCI Hawaii!

Morning guys!

So I think we’ve decided on our honeymoon!

2/3 nights in Vancouver, cruise with RCI to Hawaii and then 4/5 nights in Aulani .

Has anyone cruised Hawaii with RCI? I know the Norwegian itinerary sounds better, but honestly I think RCI will suit us more - and it’s less money and we can book it as a package which I quite like the safety net of.

Obviously if Disney decide they’re doing Hawaii again in 2021 then there is a spanner in the works until we see the prices

We've just booked this cruise, albeit the opposite way round, so we start in Hawaii. Booked for next May. Originally we looked at NCL, but the price for this was better, and a longer cruise. I can't wait!

Royal Caribbean have a lot of children on board ship and we feel are geared up towards families, I wouldn’t be booking with them for my honeymoon for this reason. We have Hawaii on our list of places to visit and we are considering Holland America. We have cruised with RCI and Holland America we much prefer Holland America. They also do some fantastic cruises to Hawaii and the Pacific.

Children don’t bother us at all - our preferred cruise line is Disney and we would be going with them if they release suitable dates again (I have a feeling they may not be doing Hawaii again in 2021).

I’ll have a look at Holland America. Are they big ships?

Well we went and got a couple of quotes today which we were happy with! So we just need to decide when we will be going now. Either the September after the wedding (May) or the following May. Depends on funds.

I did have a look at Holland America - some lovely cruises! Definitely found out for the future (and we can get 35 days off work...!) but they seem to be round trips and we want a one way trip .

So royal Caribbean is winning for us, with the possibility of Disney IF they rerun in 2021. Both excited now!
