I just used the same zip code as the restaurant. They cover a much larger area than postcodes.

As the lifespan of most of these offers is too short to sign up for before we go, I'll be applying form a US IP address anyway so that isn't a problem. The problem would come of they insist on a printed voucher rather than a screenshot!

Used Bob Evans bar code discounts for breakfast or dinner maybe 20 times in the last couple of years. Screenshot on mobile always OK

Still worth asking. Most if not all accept on a phone. I recall ihop just asked me to forward the email (for free pancakes) to an email address the server gave me.
I always check with server if I’m ok to use coupon before I order. Never had any issues.

Perkins is definitely fine on phone. They only email the bogof on Tuesday for use the following day. I used the bogof on my phone and then a 20% coupon a few days later. The 20% I’d printed and manager on till when I was paying said no need to print. This was Perkins on sand lake road.
