Ended up in Miller & Carter tonight, fantastic steak. Will definitely try to find the baltic Market, walked past the pastries place tonight so will make sure we go there. Have eaten at Mowgli in Oxford, fabulous food.

I like Lunya for Tapas, Bistro Franc is good if you're looking for a good value 2 or 3 course lunch deal
Fingers crossed you have a better journey.

I'd second Sapporo Teppanyaki - we always eat there when in Liverpool (added bonus of reminding me of Sailor Sam's in Naha, Okinawa, and Kobe or Teppan Edo in Florida!).

Of all the amazing independent places to eat, and you went to Miller and Carter

Please do try some of the local independent places in the city.

Casa Italia is a perfect meal - amazing prices too.

then just head up bold street for another option. you cant go wrong.

if you want a fresh cooked lunch as good price you could check out bistro franc just round the corner from john lewis. Or the great british kitchen does a nice british meal with a slight twist. If your a pasta, pizza person then try Casa italia just up the side of the met quarter. Or try Olive on Castle street.
If you really want to support some idependants then check out independent-liverpool/

I know, but due to traffic we arrived so much later than expected and Millers was literally next door to our hotel. Had a lovely lunch in the Philharmonic today.

Go to Bacaro on Castle Street (10 mins walk)- it is brilliant.
If you like meat, Fazenda always a good choice.

Did Casa Italia for lunch today - amazing! Glad we got there for 12.15 as they were queuing out the door by 12.30!
