Choosing premium magic bands

We're doing some timely planning with just under 60 days to go - fast passes etc. Decided we could chose our magic bands and were looking forward to choosing the 'upgraded' themed versions through My Disney Experience but although the themes are listed there aren't any bands. Has anyone managed to do this - perhaps we're doing something wrong

No haven’t been able to do it either, figure they have either sold out of them all or it’s just not working

We could have chosen on Thursday night but I dithered over which one to get and now there are none.

How on earth can they be sold out after such a short time?

Because Disney didn't control the expected high demand properly. People have and jumped in purchased bands when they are 200 days + from their trip leaving people going in the next few weeks short of stock.

The problem is that this offer is not a UK specific one, every resort guest can order them. The US guests get their bands sent out to them as soon as ordered so takes them straight out of stock, as opposed to UK guests that can't have them till they arrive. On top of that I think they completely underestimated how popular they would be. I think they would have been better to limit the ordering to a specific number of days before arrival as I think a lot of UK guests certainly have ordered for next year's holidays

Rubbish planning by Disney. You should only be able to order them so many days out. We looked the other day but thought we'd show dd and order nearer the time. Just got to hope they get some more stock soon.

Should have been prioritised. Why the heck would you want it over 2 months before you go? The internal batteries only last 2yrs I think I read.

I agree, they really should have only allowed the new bands to be purchased by guests that had less than a certain time before arrival first, but they haven't seem to have thought it through
