Too old for the big rides?

I know it's a relative thing, but it is getting to the point where I feel awkward in the queues when I'm probably around 3 times the age of the average in line!

So I'm approaching the big 60 and still love the adrenaline rush of the big rides like Sheekra, Hulk, TOT etc and I know you'll probably say you're as old as you feel and I should continue as long as I enjoy it, but it would make me feel so much better if I knew of others here who still love the rush with a bus pass

Am I alone? Am I the oldest? Should I even care?

Jeez...age has nothing to do with it,my husband is 68 and would still be riding them all if he hadn't had a heart attack last year.He still does TOT but has given up on the actual coasters now,if you're healthy you should have many years of rollercoasters left.

And no,you shouldn't care!

As a 73 year old I'm following with interest But to be honest we haven't been to the parks since 2010 when I was a mere 64 year old slip of a lad.

I was 61 when we went to Orlando in November/December 2018. With my son we did TOT, Rock n Roller coaster, Mako, Kraken, Cheetah Hunt (our fav) and Sheikra. Had an absolute ball.

We go back in a few days time. Going with DW and for the first time ever we are not doing any parks. Hopefully DS will go with us next time, which gives me an excuse to go coaster mad

This is the first year in 15 years that my father in law is not coming with us - he is 76 now. Last time he came was 74 and he loved every minute of it and went on all big rides. Its not the rides that stop him coming as such this time - more a bad back and some heart issues.

As long as your body and mind is able - keep going 😃

We’ll be meeting up with some friends on our next trip and between the 4 of us I’ll be the “baby” at 56. The other 3 will be 60, 61 and 67 and believe me we will be going on those big rides and getting to the park for rope drop an hour before they open.

Age is only relative !

My DH has to do all the big rides on his own as I cant do them, he is 63 and comes off every time grinning like a 4 year old. Go for it ride as long as your fit and able, age is just a number.
That is the Magic of Disney and Universal, its fun for all ages.

I always smile when I see 'older ' people on the big rides - it gives me hope that I will still be riding in a few years time.

The thing holding my DH back is a dodgy neck - so is stopping doing the big rides
