All inclusive recommendations

DS does his A levels next year and so we’d like to go on holiday the first week/10 days of July.

Other than our 3 (soon to be 4) WDW holidays almost all our holidays the last 20 years have been camping or caravanning - we’ve never been away to a hotel/all inclusive.

Which specific hotel would you recommend?

I’d like to fly only about 4-5 hours.
4*
All inclusive
Variety of eating options (not just 1 buffet)
Entertainment NOT required
EDIT - water sports included
Happy with adult only resort as all over 18

I’m not sure what to say about budget as never done this sort of holiday but I guess about £3000 for 3 for 10-12 nights, happy to be in one room

Look forward to checking out your recommendations

Thanks

Malta? Slightly shorter flight but good weather. We stayed at DB San Antonio and loved it. Great restaurants, Adult only rooftop pool & bar, all inclusive, water sports nearby.

We have just got back from the barcelo thallaso spa Fuerteventura. Its a beautiful hotel with great variety of food, probably one of the best I’ve stayed in. There is a harbour nearby with water sports and boats etc and an inflatable obstacle course, it is on the beach although not the best I’ve seen although if you walk 10 mins up the road it’s better. The pools are big but they are salt water pools. Weather was fabulous and there is some lovely shops and restaurants nearby. Easily get bus to other places and lots of excursions places nearby too. We booked direct with the hotel and flights separate but you can book package with tui I believe. It’s 10 drive from the airport. We just arranged our own transfer with hoppa.
