Not for breakfast or lunch but I would definitely consider it for the evening meal, means you can take a fairly relaxed approach to the day and then get to experience the fun of having a lot of character interaction without the ques.

Absolutely! I love a character meal first day to get into the swing of things. An early morning breakfast ADR like Chef Mickeys would be perfect for us.

do you mean on arrival day or your first full day?

Arrival day no but on our first full day yes we nearly always do a character meal if staying onsite with ddp. A lot of people go for an early breakfast slot as you are usually up early anyway though we prefer lunch/dinner so usually hit a park then go for something to eat before heading back to the hotel for a break mid afternoon.

We’ve always done a character meal on our first day! First time we did Crystal Palace, 2nd time Garden Grill. This year we’re not on the DDP so haven’t booked one, am a little bit gutted but won’t pay OOP for one as it’s to expensive!

Yes, we used to have a tradition of doing Crystal Palace breakfast on our first day.

Me neither. I keep booking Crystal Palace for first day lunch and cancelling it again.
