Can I ask what it was that changed your mind?

Ah sorry just seen this! For us, as much as we enjoy Disney, you can get stuck in the bubble, and after 12 trips we got a little bit sick of Disney towards the end of the 2 week stay.

It's nice to go to the outlets and the mall and see a little bit of Florida, and if you're going to do this, we'd probably book a couple of days in a condo at the end of our holiday.

That makes total sense! I have never stayed onsite before so I'm used to going off and doing other things I do enjoy the freedom to be honest. I guess I figured we'd try doing it differently next time but I suspect I will feel the same as you by the end

We've had 6 onsite trips, 1 on/offsite and 5 villas. We always have a car so if we stay on or off site we still visit all the same places, go to the shops or for a meal where and whenever we want. Staying onsite doesn't have to mean that you're stuck in the 'Disney bubble'

Love onsite and I think everyone where possible should experience it. So handy. After this year though I think we will try split stay.

Usually we would stay offsite. However, last time we stayed onsite and the time before that we had a split stay.

Offsite for me. I travel with my mother generally so we want our own bedroom and bathroom, hence a condo makes more financial sense. I'm not a hotel person anyway, I prefer not having housekeeping coming into my room so condo suits from that point of view too. I also love having the freedom of having a car so that's an expense I would have regardless of being onsite or offsite. I don't cook as such on holidays, but I do love having the space of a "home" with cooking and washing facilities (not that I use them much but I like having the option).
