London Comic Con - What lens to take
So I’m taking DD13 to London comic con in Nov. I want to get as many decent pictures as I canon her and the event, but don’t want to be lugging all my camera equipment all day so I’m planning on taking just one lens with me but not sure which of the 3 I have would be best to take.
I have 18-50mm kit lens which is the most versatile 50mm F1.8 prime which would be best for low light conditions, shallow DOF etc 55-200mm zoom I’m just taking a backpack for all our food etc and the camera will go in there so I really only want to take the one lens. Any recommendations on the best one to take appreciated |

18-50
I find if I have my 50mm prime I am often too close for people shots. I took it to DLP one year and was constantly backing up to try and get character & kids in shot. I imagine you will be taking similiar shots with celebs. So you won’t won’t to have to back away. |

The light in an exhibition hall is usually pretty harsh as well as variable , I think given I had to choose I’d worry more about that.
Love that the local DLR stations had Darth Vader doing the announcements during the last CC and the number of people in all kinds of costumes and make up using the tube and buses to get to the Con. |
