He was the first person I thought of.
So sad and so unnecessary

So terribly sad, I can’t believe in an age of such advanced technology that there was a need for any bullets and sound could be added later.

Fine I can accept 1 person killed by accident from a blank, but what about the other person who ended up in hospital is a blank enough to kill one person and severely injuring another requiring surgery or was there more than one shot. One shot negligence two shots criminal negligence.

This is what I don't understand, it's all a bit odd

Maybe a person with anger management issues shouldn’t have been near even a prop like this.

Blanks can kill unfortunately. This happened to the actor Jon-Erik Hexum on the TV show Cover Up in the 80's. He was playing around with gun not knowing it was dangerous and shot himself. Tragic

Only thing I can think is perhaps it could have ricocheted off something and gone into the second person? I don't know much about guns and wether that's possible or not though.

we don't know for sure it was loaded with blanks, there have been cases where lax control of blanks and live rounds and mixing them up have resulted in deaths or injuries even on military exercises where the safety is supposed to be better.

This is so sad for all concerned, Alec Baldwin is a controversial outspoken man and is often pushed to the edge by the media as they know he is short tempered and has outspoken political views .

I hope it never turns out someone set him up for this, it doesn't bare thinking about

Whatever people think of him he and all concerned have young families who will all be affected by this .
