Wales going backwards!

Just reading Wales online and it seems tomorrow’s announcements are looking to bring in a few restrictions - needing a COVID pass for the cinema being one!

What on earth is going on?

Genuinely feel Wales is going backwards!

I’ve just read self isolation is coming back if you’ve been double jabbed for ages 5-17 and all adults who have been in close contact with a positive case until you get a negative PCR and if things don’t improve the alert level could be raised at the next review

Nothing surprises me with his Govt. Perhaps if he made a bigger push to get the Boosters out that would help.

Of course these Cinemas are bursting at the seams with people attending - Not!

However whilst I was sat on the M4 yesterday for 45 mins trying to get through the Drakeford Tunnels on the way back from England it was good to hear the Wales' Climate Change Minister Julie James say we must view Oranges as a luxury and only eat them when they are in season.

What planet is she on? They are not even grown in the UK.

We go to the cinema about once a month as a family. Each time we have gone, even on a weekend, it hasn’t been busy.

Looks like we will be going to Vue Cribbs for future cinema trips, just out of principle.

The M4 is terrible, but we tend to come off at Magor and go through the Llanwern industrial estate to rejoin at Tredegar Park or continue through St Mellons.

According to Joanna Lumley we should be looking at going back to rations !

Joanna Lumley has suggested that a system of rationing similar to that seen during wartime, under which people would have a limited number of points to spend on holidays or lavish consumer goods, could eventually help to tackle the climate crisis.
