As near to the 1st as possible, but it needs time, so can’t do around work, so usually the nearest first Saturday in Dec to that, so Sat 4th here.

Once done followed by a nice glass of Baileys. Tradition here.

Yep plan on last weekend in November .
With a late Easter it’s going to be a push but hopefully it’s needles will stay good until then .
So get aim to get a good 4.5 months out of it 😀

We often put our tree up in November. Not sure when we'll be putting it up this year but probably in the next few weeks. We've had to cancel Florida for Xmas so might as well put the decorations up. 🎄

Ours is up already as we had it decorated for Halloween
Was planning on changing it to a fall/thanksgiving theme as it already has a lot of pumpkins on but as we’re away at the end of November and I planned on having it done before we go I’m thinking I’ll skip straight to Xmas instead
Might be early but I’m old enough to be past caring what anyone else thinks

My dd is 21 this 12/12... you have a birthday buddy!

Ours goes up sometime in December when we can be bothered. I like it to go up late and come down before new year. Dh likes it to go up Dec 1st and down on 12th night... we compromise at somewhere between at both ends.

Wow - you are all early compared to me. I usually put it up a week before Christmas and take it down around 2nd or 3rd January. It makes it more special to me if it is not up for weeks.

This Christmas we will have our son (and his family) puppy as we look after it when they are at work. Not sure how the tree will survive to be honest.

We’ve got a seasonal twig tree. It’s not our main Christmas tree, but decorated it for Halloween, it will be out again anyway in a few weeks for Christmas, so it’s now out til Christmas as an autumn tree.

Cosy and pretty during the dark nights until it changes for Christmas.
