Car seats
Can someone help with car seat requirements. I want to take my own as car rental is crazy pricey as it is, plus I'll know how to fit them and it's one less stress on arrival.
I have two boys, one 7 and is currently just over 133cm. In a booster only at home. Other will be 2/3 whilst there. He's currently in his seat he's had since a baby with the double straps. Are the rules there similar to here. Any links to what's accepted there? |

I put his in the Dibb Guidebook quite a while ago and haven't checked recently to see if Florida laws have changed.
However it gives you some ages etc to work from. https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/Chi...es-p-1521.html

I had a quick look at this last week, as far as I could see barely any EU approved car seats would be classed as legal in the US and vice-versa. I think it was due to different testing requirements.
We always take our own instead of renting so we know what we're getting and that they're safe. |

Correct. Latch and Isofix are basically the same but neither are approved for the other Countries.
I know exactly what I would do and indeed did with my Granddaughter. Take a UK car seat! Can’t be doing with all these what if’s and speculation. However people must decide for themselves what to do.
