I need a flight to Oregan in January and wonder if anyone does a deposit only. I can’t afford to pay everything at the moment. Any help please and where can I look for cheap flights any help as I’m new to this only ever booked threw a travel agency. Thanks for any help.

All of the companies I can think of which offer deposits need balances to be paid 8-10 weeks before travel, and you’re within that window or will be very soon. I think it’s unlikely you’ll find any alternative to paying up front. Sorry 😞

Try one of the aggregate sites like Google Flights or Skyscanner. If you can be flexible with your dates, midweek is almost always cheaper.
Also because Oregon isn't that common a route for Transatlantic flights, you may find it cheaper to fly into one of the west coast hubs (e.g. Seattle or San Francisco) and picking up a separate cheap domestic flight. But price both. Is it Portland you're looking at? What are your dates? |

Use something like Kayak and use flexible dates - assuming you have some wiggle room - to see if any particular dates may come out cheaper, eg:

Not sure if they fly direct but you could maybe book it through BA and add a cheap hotel for one night (as a throwaway option) to make it a package. Then you’d not have to pay the balance until three weeks before.
It’s the custom trip option then you could add just one night hotel stay on? |
