I remember about 30 something years ago, my mum buying a whole box of galaxy truffle pine cones reduced after Xmas in 7 Eleven (long gone) for about 10p each or maybe less back then? She hid them in the sideboard but I knew they were there… 😋

1. Quality Street
2. Roses
3. Heroes
4. Celebrations

I really wish that QS would bring back the blue peanut cracknel and the chocolate covered toffee one and that Roses would bring back the small flat Cadbury and Bourneville squares!

In the last couple of weeks I have re-tried Quality Street, Celebrations, and Heroes. (I looked at the tub of Roses in the supermarket today but decided it seemed to have too many soft centres for my liking...)

Current ranking:
Quality Street > Celebrations > Heroes

Quality Street - seems to be the least sweet of the bunch and I quite like the variety they have.

Celebrations - fun having fun-sized versions of things like Twix and Mars

Heroes - really too sweet for me in general. Not sure if it is just how Cadbury chocolate usually is? (I don't normally buy Cadbury chocolate besides Crunchie, and most of Crunchie isn't the chocolate...)

Me and my son don't like milk or dark chocolate 😩

I wish they would bring out a white chocolate tub version.

My husband said

My mum (bless her) wrote to Cadburys because she thought the hero’s should be soldier shaped…….as she said like proper heroes……she never did get a reply!
Always makes me smile…

Lovely...❤

I wrote to them when we got a tin of heroes with ONE twisted creme egg in it... ONE, it was the first year they put them in the tin... we made it a prize in the afternoon's games!

They sent back £20 worth of vouchers to make up for our disappointment!

It did.
