I will be in the kitchen for about 80 hours next week I think 😬
I haven’t got an Easter offering as there seem to be so many birthdays next week but I did agree to Eastering up my brownies for a local catering company. I guess mini eggs?!
Today I really need to plot my week.

Here are some brownies and some Gluten Free cupcakes from yesterday

Wow they look incredible! 😍

I know exactly what you mean! After the Mothers Day madness it's flown and it's already Easter! 😂 My daughter's birthday is on Thursday too and she wants a sonic cake! I'm not the most experienced with fondant so wish me luck 😂

Thanks so much!

I made a little sausage in cling film with the different colours, cut the end, and popped that into my piping bag. Does that make sense?

I absolutely love baking!

I would love to see what you've been baking recently!

I have just finished my Easter treat boxes which I absolutely love and I made this Kinder cookie dough pie a few days ago!

Not sure what to make next! I'm thinking cookies! 😋
Your easter treat box is so pretty!

I'm planning a simnel cake, although can't be bothered to make marzipan so buying some tomorrow. We've not even started to eat the Christmas cake yet! Feeding it every couple of weeks though. I always used to make a simnel until we started holidaying at easter. Made a 'covid-cake' last year (Delias Sherry Mincemeat).

I really timed my children wrong so I have a birthday on 22nd March and another 5th April. This means a lot of my excuses for baking are competing with Easter! I love baking, and decorating. This is my daughter’s 13th birthday cake last week
A chocolate biscuit cake so not really baking!
DS has asked for a sticky toffee cake. His birthday falls on Easter Monday so no Easter baking for me!

I will try and write it out as I did it 😊

It's 200g of butter softened mixed with 250g light brown sugar.

2 egg yolks and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract mixed in next.

Mix in 320g of plain flour and 1 teaspoon of baking powder until a dough is formed.

Mix white chocolate chips and kinder pieces.

Put half of the mixture on the bottom of a cake tin, melt a tub of hazelnut spread (Morrisons) or you can use another spread of your choice.
Kinder bars on top. And then push the remaining dough on the top.

Oven at 160 20 minutes
Once cooled fridge until set. Cut.

Microwave for 30 seconds when ready to eat. It's amazing!
Thank you 😊
