How do you do jackets in the slow cooker?
I do them for two hours in the oven normally

Can I ask how you do crispy duck in the air fryer please - sounds lovely

I wash and dry the potatoes prick them 2/3. Times withna fork spray lightly with one cal oil spray you can rub them with salt I don’t
I don’t wrap them in foil if it’s forjust us but you can
Place in the slow cooker in one layer if you can then cook on high for 5 to 5 and a half hours

i have to admit we use the microwavable baked potatoes. The ones from Aldi are great as as the McCain frozen ones. Quick and easy. I have done slow cooker ones when I have potatoes left though.

Thanks for the spud recipe, I’m going to try them. Today it will baguette with various fillings, prawns, tuna or cheese or ham. I’ve got some lovey cherry tomato’s and and I’ll cut up a big bowl of strawberries with ice cream.

Cook a gammon, have it hot and cold with baked or new potatoes.

Salmon hot or cold is great.

Bake a delicious quiche with jackets

Pasta is simple and quick with a quick bolognaise or veggie sauce.

Go to chippy or Chinese

Think I will do a baguette for tomorrow after reading this - will make a change from the flatbread we normally have.
