1 Day on IDrive

Hi,

I'm just trying to pick up some ideas as I have major FOMO

If you had a full day on IDrive what would you do, and where would you eat? We will be staying in Rosen Inn at Pointe for 2 nights, but with travelling and then moving on to Disney we will have 1 full day free. We are a family of 4, and our boys will be 5 and 9 at the time.

We might spend a couple of hours at the pool late afternoon other than that I am totally up for any suggestions to help with our day. I have spent some time researching already but there is just so much to do and so many places to eat!

Thanks

I was watching some You Tube videos of recent changes on IDrive and theres a Chocolate Museum and Gator Golf which has real alligators outside it. My DS was impressed with that!
We are hoping to go next year and I'm looking at Titanic Museum, Icon Park, Ripleys believe it or dont and Wonderworks as some IDrive activities.

Thank you both

I think I watched that You Tube video last night and jotted down a few ideas.

So far I’m thinking, breakfast somewhere such as Denny’s or ihop and then have a look at the gators. Possibly Wonderworks/Ripley’s/Illusion Museum (not all!), and lunch at Icon Park. Pool for a couple of hours then over to Pointe for dinner/music early-ish as I’m guessing we’ll have very tired children! Will keep researching though!

Spending at least one day along I-Drive is something I think everyone should do. It's a nice break from the insane crowds of the parks, and provides a great choice of excellent and more affordable entertainment and dining options. Shopping too!

The Icon wheel and waxworks are both really good, plenty to see in the waxworks and lots of bits you can put on for photos.

Echo this.

On one of our recent cheapo February half-term non-park trips we picked up some sort of Icon Park combo ticket that included the wheel, the SEA LIFE centre and Madame Tussauds.

I've never been to a Madame Tussauds before, and we weren't going to use that part of the ticket but eventually decided to do so, and it was really good fun.

There's a good range of dining spots there too > iconparkorlando
