Which rug- update- disaster

I am getting little to zero help from my husband, he just wants the cheapest one but I am refusing to say which one it is 😂😂
For the size we need there is a £100 price difference. So is one a hundred pound nicer than the other.
I know this style isn’t everyones taste 😉
Just to add, we have very pale grey flooring and walls with white furniture, curtains are going to be grey, cushions etc will be pale blue and pale pink 👍🏻

Which room is it for and will there be any furniture standing on it? What size?

I think I personally prefers the bottom one as its more neutral and therefore less risk of getting tired of it.

It needs to be 200 x 290. We have an open living area so it will sit partly under the sofa and will have a glass coffee table sat on it. The entire flooring is high gloss, large, pale grey tile so it definitely needs a big rug to make it feel warm if that makes sense 😬

I bought a patterned red/black/grey rug for my sittingroom and I am fed up with it 18 months later. I want to get a plain grey, they I can change colours in cushions and ornaments according to the season or my taste, so I would be tempted with the grey.

Rugs never last me very long 🙈 usually around 12 months but my current one is 18 months old and doing my head in 🤪

With that size i would go for a neutral one. I like the last one you added. If you want colours in do that through accent colours on other items.

My parents have one that I think is the same as or very similar to the second one you posted and it’s lovely, so I’d go for that one.
