Birthdays!
I had no idea where to put this but it is my 30th Birthday and DDs 5th birthday when we go to disney!
Each year our family asks for a birthday list of what to buy. I was thinking of putting some extra things or experiences on the holiday on the list - rather than taking actual gifts in our suitcase. Any ideas what we could put? Has anyone done this before? I did think of asking for dollars but if they are put in cards DD wont have time to spend them as it's her birthday just before we leave and mine is only a few days before that. Thanking you cant wait to hear of the extra experiences on offer. |

The main experiences I can think of are ones that are a bit of a splurge, e.g. the MK fireworks dessert party. That can get pretty pricey for a family so not sure if it'll be in a birthday money budget. But it's unlimited cake, so would be a good fit for a birthday!
I'd probably just ask for spending money and open the cards as soon as I got there tbh. But I'm not one that saves them for the day. |

The dessert party?
A character meal at the castle? Or in Epcot with princesses? Bibbidi Bobbidi boo makeover? Pirates and pals cruise? |

Definitely bibbidi bobbidi boutique for your DD if she's into the princesses. My DDs birthday fell on a trip one year and we did BBB followed by lunch at Cinderellas Royal Table- it was perfect!

Are you staying on site? In which case, look up Disney floral and gifts. Not cheap but some awesome things

We went with friends to Beaches and Cream for a Kitchen Sink Dessert, they put sparklers in it and came out singing ‘Happy
Birthday’ and gave him a balloon - he was mortified with all the attention but it was definitely memorable 🤣 |

Ahh so many things.. I like the idea of beaches and cream tbh.. I could ask for someone to buy us the kitchen sink 😬 it's actually on my bucket list.
I did consider the BB boutique tbh but sometimes DD is fussy with how her hair is.. I might see how she is with things like that by the time we go. We are staying offsite. I'd love to do the dessert party 😁 |
