DH came home yesterday and asked if I’d heard of this restaurant as a colleagues friend was due to go there in the near future - so we googled and You Tubed .
Do normal people really pay this sort of money to eat out
( other than corporate etc)
I’m shocked and a little bit sickened if I’m honest about the cost of one meal .
How good can a steak be ?
Has anyone eaten here ?
If so was it really worth the money in terms of food or experience?

Never heard of it. Their website doesn't seem to have any prices, which tells its own story.

'Worth it' is a question without an answer, really.

Prices are insane and the reviews aren't great, maybe the sort of place you only go once to say you've been, however you need very deep pockets it's not just the the 'signature' dishes that are expensive for example a can of red bull will set you back £11 !
Even at London prices much better to be had at a fraction of the cost nearby

I know what you mean about worth it but was asking if people who had been thought it was worth it (as opposed to value for money )

Is this the salt Tiktok guy? The prices are obscene and anyone that pays that amount of money for money wants their head testing. A portion of broccoli is something like £11!

Some great comments on Insta when Gemma Collins went there ( if you know who she is) and thought she was going to get the meal for free and had a big shock when she was charged full price.
He has lots of alleged allegations against him in the US for labour violations

Ha ha - I once cooked a Tomahawk steak from Aldi for DH and DS
I offered to cook it again but promised to wear sun glasses and throw salt at them to recreate the experience.
Once bumped into Gemma Collins at The Celtic manor hotel waiting for the lift lol

She comes across as a bit of a spoiled Diva to be honest, although it may just be all for show.
We regularly cook the Aldi tomahawks on our bbq too, I think we should both start charging the family £850 when we cook them!

heard he's already ditched this one to move to saudi arabia to open up yet another place that fleeces rich people of their money. cant fault him, i guess... if i became famous for how i sprinkle salt rather than the quality of my food, i'd fleece idiots for as much as i could by sticking gold leaf on it too!

also, jay rayner's review is fantastic...
