Yes, unfortunately as we received the news at 7pm whilst in a hotel the night before travel, we are going to have to take our chances!

Just thinking, my 13 yo will still have to do a negative LFT for entering France then we all do another one at the airport when we arrive? We arrive on a Monday & leave Thursday, will she have another one to do or will the airport one cover her for our stay?

We have made it and just sat down with a well deserved cappuccino in Hotel New York! I feel like I have done nothing but stand in queue since 5am this morning!

Anyway it was a false alarm from British Airways yesterday, all passengers were not required to test. I had a sleepless night over that!

Immediately after getting off the plane, people were divided into vaccinated and unvaccinated. The vaccinated ones had to show passport and vaccination pass to somebody before proceeding to immigration. I did not see anybody go into the non vaccinated channel, so I don’t know what happened there.

The immigration line was very very long but it moved quickly.

So it’s unvaccinated only that are getting tested on arrival?

Thanks for letting us know and have a brilliant time!

I didn’t see anybody go into the unvaccinated channel off the plane, so I don’t know what would have happened. But it was a clear separation and there was obviously some different process for those people.

This was exactly the same for us, no mention of a test needed just vaccine proof and passport, border control was about 20mins. We’re in Paris for a few days then over to art of marvel for a week 👍

Thanks for this. We are flying with BA and their website links to yet another form which is similar to a sworn statement but asks for things like social security number and zip code! We are just planning to do the sworn statements, and if they want us to do anything else at the airport, we will.

(We are 2 adults, double jabbed)

Also done:

Proof of vaccine loaded onto Tousanticovid
Ordered Day 2 tests for home
Got link to passenger locator form to do while we're there

I think that's it! Part of me finds it very odd not having to do even LFTs before we fly. As we are going to be in London for a few days, going to shows and mixing with a lot of people, I think we might do LFTs the day before just for our own peace of mind.
