Booked Australia!

I was about to book LA and Hawaii for next September using my avios points and just thought I would see how availability to Australia was looking. To my surprise there was availability in Club World for September so I snapped it up!

We have been keen to go back to Australia as we used to live there and are citizens. Obviously we won’t be going if they still have quarantine in place, but there is nearly eleven months for that to change and worse case scenario is we lose £70 admin fee.

We know Australia well of course, but have not even started to think about what to include in this trip as it was so out of the blue. So would be interested in any thoughts of maybe some more unusual places to go to.

We are flying in and out of Sydney and will spend at least a week there, a must for us as Sydney was where we lived.

Yay! I'm close to booking as well, just need to figure out when and for how long.

Mine is mostly going to be visiting family who are scattered around the east coast, so no sightseeing advice. Although I'm sure I'll take a trip up the mountains, as Leura is one of my favourite places on earth.

There was just one day available flying out in September, the 30th. There was quite a bit of availability coming back in October, I didn't look at outbound for October as i had already seen the 30th available.

I have booked us for just over three weeks, I could have made it a bit longer, but that is about as long as we would be willing to leave the pets in kennels.

I really want to go and visit my brother. Not sure when that will allowed but hope to get there in the next few years.

I think we will mainly be up and down the east coast somewhere. But I am tempted to do a few days in the centre too.

That sounds sublime, and club too !

It will be lovely to re- visit your old haunts and see people.

If there are restrictions then, I’m driving to Beachy Head 😂
