Sheraton Miami Airport

Hi all,

Has anyone stayed at the Sheraton at Miami Airport? I don't really fancy the shuttle bus after a long flight and it seems the hotel is close to the rental car centre (which is accessed by a people mover thing). Can anyone confirm it's possible to easily walk from the rental car centre across to the hotel?

Also if anyone has a more general review it'd be good to hear it

We have stayed 3 times there. I was the same on getting the car after we landed but only wanted a short drive!
You come down the ramp from the car rental centre stay to the left and cross the road at the lights sand you are there so easy! For an extra $5 I get them to also valet park the car for the night.
Hotel is great for a nights stay decent restaurant and pool. We had a club room last time and highly recommend as you can grab drinks and snacks at night plus the breakfast is pretty decent also

Stayed there and breakfast was amazing. We collected the car though and drove to it as only wanted a short drive. They only did Valet when we stayed however as the car park must have been tiny.

Sorry can’t therefore comment on whether you could walk. I imagine not, as it’s very busy!

There was a people mover and a monorail involved before collecting the car.
I assumed there was a shuttle from the car centre to the hotel? (ie a small people carrier)

I stayed there, it’s a great hotel. The club room overlooks golf course and city and saw we saw manatees swimming right by! It’s just across from car hire, so distance wise you could walk, but it’s across a main road, so might not be wise.

Thanks all! Looks like it might be doable but a bit of a faff. However the price seems to have gone up quite a lot since I last checked so unless Black Friday brings any Sheraton deals I might have to look elsewhere. Maybe the shuttle won't be so bad
