I’ve never had any transport issues at WL, bus & boat both very reliable & regular.
Is the running trail back open? We last stayed at WL in December 2019 & it was closed because of the building works at FW, I know they’re now on hold/ cancelled but I’ve no idea if the trail has reopened, may be worth checking unless anyone knows.

This was our choice also…. And we opted for Poly.
I have always wanted to stay at WL and I am sure we will one day, but with 2 young ones (4 going on 5 and a 9 month old) we thought transport options for us would be much better at Poly…. Especially with a double buggy. We love the Poly resort whenever we have visited!

You have now given me the same predicament.
We love the idea of the Poly. it just seams magical. Watching the fireworks from the beach and so on But DVC rooms are not as fancy as the new refurbished rooms. But the transport links is a big bonus. (as plan not to have a car) Wilderness looks equally as magical. But transport links not so good. But it looks a much more relaxing location for non park days. We plan on doing a split stay at Boardwalk area and then Poly or Wilderness. Edited at 12:40 PM. |

Sorry to have made your life more difficult 😉. FWIW I think I would have opted for the Poly if we didn’t have a car as rope drop v important to us. However like you I really liked the idea of WL for down days.
We are also doing a split stay - 5 nights Boardwalk Villas and now 5 nights WL. Hope you have fun choosing. |

Oh ok….
We had a main Hotel room and after researching on Touring plans I had a series of room numbers on the upper floors with a view toward MK. Bagged one on check in from helpful CM. We watched some fireworks shows (wishes) on our balcony 👍 Enjoy Disney332

That sounds great. Yes was having a look at the TP views and trying to work out might be best. Can you recall which room you stayed in? Thanks.
