Linking Room booking in MDE

Hi There,

Trying to link our 1 night at Beach Club to My Disney Experience but its not recognising the reference number we got from our booking confirmation.

Its all paid up so nothing outstanding there but its not until October 2022 so maybe too early?

Any ideas?

When did you book? Was it direct through Disney?

If through a third party, depending which one it is, they may need to supply you with the specific Disney reference number which might be different than your confirmation.

If through Disney, or you already have the Disney reference, it can take a few weeks to be able to link through on MDE. Usually it's only a few days, but I have had it take nearly two weeks before.

It was direct with Disney.

It has taken a couple of weeks or so in the past, although I have noticed it is much quicker these days. My last couple of Disney bookings have been within the day, my most recent one was room only and that one linked instantly. Still I would not worry too much at this point and keep trying.

My 2022 booking made earlier in the year linked quickly, within a day as you said. But my 2021 booking made last month took nearly a week. So the delays can still occur. Seems to be luck of the draw.
