Hubby won a trip to California (San Francisco, Sacramento) and then on to Orlando with 1K spending money thrown in.
He found out he'd won the evening we arrived in Orlando and thought it was a scam at first.

The same year I won a trip to Chatsworth House RHS flower show staying in a spa hotel and with a VIP drinks reception at a show garden with the designer.

I won a holiday voucher in a raffle about 1990. We booked Florida with Intasun which promptly went bust so we rebooked and went to Crete. So glad we didn’t go as we knew nothing about how big Florida was and anything about tickets and parks etc. I also won a radio competition for ds to be mascot for our local football team. He was over the moon and had a brilliant time.

Air New Zealand Sky Couch seats to LA in Head for Points comp, 2018. OH entered my name, and an email arrived while he was at work, I thought it was scam! A lovely prize, but cost us an expensive 2 week holiday as had the pay extra for 2 DDs flights 😂😂

i entered a competition via twitter when i went to see the Formula E in Battersea Park, we'd taken sandwiches and had eaten these when my husband had the track radio on and they announced it. We were the last there from the winners, it was all you could eat (was already full) a private viewing area with butlers keeping you topped up with champagne. We spent the time watching the racing and keeping Jodie Kidd's little boy amused before meeting Nelson Piquet Jr. We rolled out of there a few hours later!

I'm not usually lucky at all and this was an amazing experience
