Magic Hours
Hi I was hoping someone would be be able to tell me how far in advance the Disney magic hours are released we travel at end of July to the beginning of August 2020. We want to start some planning as we know we can book ADR’s at the end of Jan.

Well they are out up to June now so I guess in about a month. That said they don’t vary much. I would bet on extra evening hours at Epcot on Tuesday and MK on Wednesday. And for the extra morning hours; Saturday and Monday at AK, Thursday at Epcot, Friday at MK and Sunday at HS.

Disney releases its initial plans for Extra Magic Hours about 6 and a half months beforehand. The extra magic hours for July will be released in mid December. So probably just under 2 weeks time. August’s will be released in mid January.
If you want a rough idea of park hours and which parks have Magic Hours on which days, you could look at the parks hours for July earlier this year, here: https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/par...?hours=07+2019 And the Busy Day Guide for July this year: https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/bus...?hours=07+2019 Next year should be similar-ish. Remember to use the day of the week rather than the date.

I'm going next August and I've already done my plan based on current EMH. We went in 2017 and I seem to remember MK had EMH in the evening on a Wednesday then and there are other similarities so not sure how much they change? If I need to swap some things around when the times/days are released I can always do that then. Good Luck.

The others are correct we've been a fair few times at the end of July and beginning of August. Claudette is right the EMH days are pretty set in stone. We used to get evening hours at HS on a Friday night, but that disappeared and they only seem to have morming hours now. The only parks that have evening hours at that time of year are MK and Epcot.
Also, the park hours often change slightly the month before you travel so if you are after an early morning breakfast before park opening be mindful that they may change the hours nearer the time. If you sign up to the link Nimbus shared then you will get notified if the park hours change. Good luck with your planning.

Thanks everyone. We have been quite a few times but this is the first time we have had to plan so far in advance as we have the Disney dining plan, so we want to make reservations for restaurants which would match our magic hour plans.
