Fireworks

Hi I wonder if any recent visitors to Tokyo can tell me if their fireworks are every night? I can’t seem to find an answer on their website other than opening times. We are hoping to go 10th and 11th May one day in each park.

Also going to visit Hong Kong a couple of weeks later, not done much research in that yet though.

I'm not sure about Tokyo but Hong Kong aren't doing fireworks this year as they're working on a new castle. The castle has been boarded in since the start of February.

I went mid-February and whilst I had a lovely day I'll need to go back in the future as I didn't see fireworks or the castle and the parades were cancelled as it was raining!

When we visited Tokyo DL in 2013 fireworks were not every night in the main DL park. Mainly at weekends I think.
However, go see their version of Fantasmic at Tokyo Disneysea - plenty of fireworks and the show is performed on the Sorcerer's hat!

Thanks Beth, yes I guess that would make sense for HK not to be doing them, that might actually work in our favour as time in HK quite limited so if we don’t need to stay until the very end of the day for the fireworks that might work. Thanks for your insight.

Thanks Geoffa, yes that definitely looks one to try and catch, fingers crossed it’s on one of the evenings we are there.
