The one with the toddler - travel day

As mentioned I am not going to do a live report whilst out here... but but certainly wanted to post a little about yesterday whilst wide awake at almost 3.

Manchester airport - security check was ok. Had my bag searched but otherwise quite quickly through with pram.
V-room amazing... seats by the play area, and some really lovely kids in there playing with DS. Would book VH again just for access.

Flight VS75 - couldn’t have asked for better flight. DS has about 3.5hrs sleep (2 stints) and was great all the way through in his own seat. Loved the cheesy pasta also. DW and I were both able to watch 2 films.

MCO airport - took us over an hour to get through immigration hall with then all cases waiting for us at the other side. Got in just after a Virgin Glasgow flight! Wasn’t great. Took us all in all about 3 hours from landing to get through airport and to the hotel via DME.

BLT - amazing first night. Pool time then dinner in contempo cafe. Finished off with watching the slightly delayed fireworks from the balcony!

Finally...

DS - we are both so proud of how he did yesterday on what is an unbelievably long day... From getting up at 530hrs UK time and not falling asleep in our bed till 2030 US time is amazing. He was so great through everything... so so proud! Always nice to get comments from other passengers also.
