Water quality in WDW water bottle refill stations

Hi - anyone used the new refill stations and can vouch for water quality? Is it like the QS free iced water or is it more like the outside fountains? I’m wondering if I need to get a shopping delivery (mostly for bottled water) or just use our own bottles and refill them. Thanks

We always used the water fountains in the part and they were fine.

yes tasted fine to us too, we bought bottled water from Target but didn't really need it so save your money

Fountains are fine. I know where all the cold ones are.

All we do is buy a slab of water at Publix, take 1 bottle to the Park and top it up repeatedly then share it.

Water fountains are good quality, we used them all day long back in June. The one right by the Tangled toilets was particularly nice and cold for some reason lol.

And I say this as someone who thought the ice water in the free cups you can get from the QS places tasted absolutely foul 🤢

They are all fine.
A few years ago to fountains tasted awful but they must have done something about it as tried a fountain today and tasted fine.

I noticed today that the water from the fountains tasted much better than last time we were here 👍

Are the fountains marked on the park maps ? Or is it worth checking the locations before you go ?

When we last went we brought the bobble bottles. These have a filter in them which helps to purify the water.

Not sure if it was the filter or the water itself but it tasted fine. no one felt ill even our 3 year old at the time.

Ahh, this is good to read. After several attempts at drinking the fountain water several years ago, we gave up. It tasted like the devil's own sulphurated sewerage to us!

Will give it another try now
