March for one week

Are we crazy to think about visiting Orlando for one week?

We are going in December for 2 weeks and going to purchase annual passes for Universal.

We are planning to go for 2 weeks next September but thought we could sneak in a week in March for hubby's birthday.

We would be mainly doing Universal and some of the I-Drive attractions but no Disney, what are your thoughts?

We went in the February half-term Saturday to Saturday, booking just a few days ahead of when we travelled. We had a great week.

My countdown shows I'm off to Orlando for three weeks in around 40 days time and there's a reasonable chance I might book a week trip between now and then too.

If you can go, then go!

Do it! We had an annual pass (Disney) and got three trips out of it in 12 months. We’ve had a nine night trip where we just did Disney and had three nights at Pop after three nights in Virginia. We arrived at Pop at about 4 pm Weds, left at 1pm Saturday and were amazed at how much we got done. On the three night trip, on the two full days, we went into the park in the morning, had a nice lunch somewhere, a hotel break and back to the parks late afternoon. It really extended the days.

We have been for a week many times over the years, as Orlando isn’t really our main holiday. It still gives you 6 and a half days to do the parks or chill. When our daughter was young we often did Feb or Oct half term for a week.

We did 1 week in March just gone, we stayed on site at Disney and just broke it up with half day in the morning, left and went shopping back to the room and then another park in the evening, we managed so much and would definitely do it again

Definitely! We did a week in May 2 years ago and just did universal and sea world. We’ve also done Mexico for a week and last year did California for 5 nights! I’ll take what I can get 😁

Yep, just got back from a week. Did 5 nights at Clarion Inn in LBV and last 2 nights at AKL. Did the 4 Disney parks and some time at the resort while we were at AKL. We went on pretty much everything we wanted to and saw each of the main night time shows. Would absolutely have loved to do 2 weeks as I did previously but a week was totally fine, didn't really miss out on anything other than the water parks and more time at the pool etc. Go for it!

Yes! We’ve booked a week in February half term. We are planning to upgrade our 14 day Universal tickets when we go next month and will use these in February. We are going to stay at Cabana Bay and just enjoy Universal for the week, eating out and a bit of shopping!
