ERIC - The Dibb’s Cat Mascot
So sorry to say that Eric died this morning at the vets, I cuddled him in my arms until he was gone.
At the grand old age of 21y, 9m and 16d, about 102 in human terms. He was fine until yesterday afternoon, then he stopped eating, drinking, poo-ing and pee-ing overnight. This morning he was moping around and I knew it was time. Olga came with me and took me for coffee afterward, don’t think I would have managed so well on my own. Thanks to all of you for adopting Eric as our mascot ! It’s all down to Rodger now as our Mascot Dog ! Linda xxx |

Linda I’m so sorry, I know how heartbreaking it is but you did the best for Eric. I had to make that very difficult decision last year with my dog Gizmo and even though I knew it was the right thing to do it still broke my heart, and I still miss him dreadfully now as he was my baby.

Although I haven't written on this thread I have followed it all along the way and was so pleased that he seemed to be getting better and now I have just read this awful news. I'm so sorry for this and I am sure you are absolutely gutted. Sending you all my love
