Mobile Spudulike closed?

Sad times, just went to go for an early lunch and found out they’ve all closed

Ours in Exeter closed years ago and so I thought they’d long gone - a shame as I like a jacket potato!

I thought they went years and years ago. I was really surprised to read the news the other day.

My boss mentioned this yesterday and none of us could recall having seeing a branch for about 20 years!
Where were they all?!

Haven’t seen any for years.

Victoria Wood used to say Spud-oo-li-kay and I have always pronounced it like that!

The only place I ever saw a Spudulike was in the McArthurGlen designer outlets.. never in my 29 years on this planet did I ever eat from there.

I used to visit it years ago and it was really good and good value for money, however about a year ago, went and paid around £5.50 for a Potato with a tiny bit of salad and sat in a hard plastic chair. Total rip off so am not surprised.

In comparison , hubby and me and a giant baked potato at Costco last week , loads of tuna and beans , a drink between us and cost under £5 .

I loved their potato with prawns but I think they were too expensive, I paid nearly £8 last time with a drink. They were the only place in the shopping centre with no queue!
