Best Western Lake Buena Vista - FP+ and ROTR

I am going to Florida in May this year, staying at Universal's Cabana Bay resort for a week. The trip was originally just for Universal/shopping, however as we are big Star Wars fans, we couldn't resist booking a one day pass to Hollywood Studios during our trip, as Galaxy's Edge was not open when we last visited in 2018. We have now also added on one night's stay at Best Western Lake Buena Vista to take advantage of the 60 day FP+ as they are an official Disney partner hotel and we want to try to get a FP for Smuggler's Run.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience of this hotel and their shuttle service? It says that the shuttles start running 30 minutes prior to park opening. Obviously Rise of the Resistance is a must for us so assuming that the boarding group system is still in place then, it seems as though we must be there for opening to guarantee a place in a boarding group.

Yeh, the shuttles start an hour before park opening. They pick up at another couple of hotels before heading off and also the shuttles drop off at 2 parks, think the split was Magic Kingdom then Hollywood studios, and the other shuttle was Epcot then Animal Kingdom.

I only used the shuttle once or twice as they took quite long, so if you want to guarantee an early start at HS I'd advise uber/Lyft. Took 10 mins and cost less than $15.
