Staying off site and taking own food

In terms of the DAS equivalent its similar but probably a bit easier. On pretty much every ride there is a seperate disability entrance and they let you on straight away rather than giving you a return time.

Only thing we needed a return time for was meeting the Princesses, you had to go straight there first thing as the return times got booked up pretty quick and get a slot.

We have done this quite a few times over the last few years in various different family group sizes. We’ve used Airbnb mostly and gone for apartments with living space and cooking (not that we did much of that!) and a couple of bathrooms.

We like to be able to use the local patisserie / Boulangerie for breakfast before walking / free shuttle or cheap paid train (depending on where exactly we stay) to get to DLP.

If you want a no-frills basic hotel for just sleeping in (and possiblly breakfast as well) then have a look at the Ibis Hotel, Val d'Europe. It has an underground car park and is close to DLP. You can drive or take the train. The train station is just 50 metres from the front door.

We've used the Ibis Hotel a couple of times and found that it made a good base.

Thanks that looks great. What about park tickets. How do they work , buy in advance or on the day?

It's a few years ago but I think that it was more cost effective to buy annual passes in advance. We went through on temporary passes on the first day and then went straight to the annual pass building to get our photo passes. The annual passes were very useful for all of the merchandise that we bought.
