Mobile Lymphoma

My dad has today been diagnosed with Lymphoma. I feel so numb. My mum is inconsolable, she can’t even speak on the phone.

We don’t know how severe or what stage yet. He will have a biopsy, but they said things are delayed due to covid.

I just feel so numb and don’t know what to say or do.

Sorry to hear this. I have a close relation who is in remission from another type of blood cancer. Lots of new treatments out there. Lots of help and info at blood cancer uk. Hope you get some answers soon. The biopsy will tell you more and hope it’s not delayed too much ♥️

My sister has just recovered from lymphoma. It has taken about seven years. She went to see a herbalist who gave her “mushroom concoction” tablets. The consultant at Christie’s was very interested. So she had the all clear a couple of months ago.

Good luck to you all with whichever path your dad takes.

Dave was diagnosed in 2000, no treatment at first then chemo tablets, then chemo and rituximab, then some rituximab on its own and been in complete remission since 2010. Totally fit and healthy.

Please don't despair...Lymphoma can be easily treated...Is it Hodgkin's or non Hodgkin's? ….Try not to worry to much about the staging as like I say lymphoma responds really well to treatments. You will all get through this …..
