Great service from BA, changing booking as price drop

Just come off phone to BA, I must say I've had great service. We booked a flydrive for Aug 2021 in Sept, Heathrow to MCO and MCO-MIA-Heathrow on return.
When checking prices last night I found our exact dates but from Gatwick and direct both ways were cheaper by nearly £600.
They have just changed our booking,hassle free and we've saved £600.
Great service, so for all you that have booked for next year give them a call if you find something better 👍

Just tried it with Virgin Atlantic as it’s about £280 cheaper now than I paid but they were having none of it ...managed to change onto the earlier flight though 😉

I rang after seeing your post, added an extra night including hotel to our booking and saved over £1000 between us (£157 each)
So THANK YOU!
This made up for our December fights being cancelled today xxx

Well I am really disappointed. I rang as well and basically 'computer says no' he can't change my flight classes so I can't get it at the now reduced price online unless I cancel and get the voucher.

However he said I can't rebook until I have the voucher which can take up to 7 days as if I book the same dates before the voucher is issues the computer will class it as a duplicate and cancel my booking and I don't want to risk waiting 7 days for the voucher incase the price increases again.

Really disappointed. I normally stick with the whole - you paid what you paid- but as others can manage their booking and save, it isn't very fair I can't.

I would phone and double check as I did this a few months back when the sale was on and I had a voucher applied to my old booking + my deposit to transfer so they rebooked mine and then applied the voucher a week later as they had to reapply for it. So more or less the held my booking without a deposit till the voucher came through.

I did exactly the same a few weeks back. We had originally booked the LHR flights as they were cheaper but noticed the LGW has dropped to be lower (about £50 each). Quick phone call and BA changed it no problem. £200 saving and LGW is nearer home too. Lovely!

Fantastic, I did exactly the same. Called Tuesday, got straight through. Changed indirect both legs LHR to TMP, over to direct LGW to MCO, same dates, car increased from groupW to GroupS. £8 cheaper! (£2632 total, 2 adults + 16yo & 18yo 23 days)

I already added BA Disney 14 day (£425ea) and Universal 7 day (£230ea) tickets via them too (By far the cheapest I've found) and a night in the swan which weren't touched

And all I've paid is £350 deposit which is refundable
