I think the first thing our house needs is new windows.

Then I would like the whole house to be modernised. DH and I have different tastes in styles and, I have just discovered, that he is a bit colour blind. No wonder we have such difficulty in agreeing on anything for the home.

We want to move tbh but if we were staying a conservatory would be top of the list. Oh and a new bathroom, patio/garden landscaped and the exterior fully re-rendered.

The only thing I’d change is the kitchen. I’d like it to be bigger. But we are happy where we are and have no mortgage, so I’ll make do.

The size and placement of the light ft hatch
We can’t get a proper loft ladder and I can get up but not down and it bugs me especially right now as all the elf explosion as Dah calls it has to come down at once not just specific things so stuff is everywhere
Or reverse the front and back garden

We bought a new build and I’d want a bigger living room. The sacrifice on the living room is that we have a huge kitchen/diner, a study and a living room downstairs so plenty of space but I would still like a bigger living room. I also wish we had a driveway that fit two cars side by side, ours is long so they have to go one behind the other which is a logistical nightmare as our working days/times vary so the cars are never in the right order!

I want a lounge that looks over the back garden. Our sitting room is east facing and I find it quite dark and would much rather look out on green garden.

I do love our house and it works well but I'd love an ensuite, a loft extension, an extension at the back to make a living kitchen and have bi-fold doors into the garden.

Bigger oven, more cupboards for food storage, nice modern bathroom fittings, bit more soundproofing.
