The best gift I could have is not to have to buy my husband a gift, so he's bought some whiskeys in the black Friday sale and I might have a new phone (so I can give my mother my old one for Christmas).
It's not that I'm tight (much) I just hate shopping, even for myself, let alone other people.

I ended up asking DH to get me a new frying pan yesterday as the handle on the lid to ours fell off! I really don't need anything else at the moment. I have also sent DD a link to some gorgeous sheepskin slippers called Sheepers so I'm hopeful for those.

We haven’t done gifts for years, but we are this year. I’ve asked for some pjs, a pair of Goodr sunglasses, a couple of books and an accessory kit for my Cricut.

I’d also bike a helmet for my new e-bike, and some basic lights, but I think my parents will probably sort those out.

My birthday is 20th December, so I get double the pressure for gift ideas, but it’s difficult when you’re lucky enough to have the things you need.

Based on financial situ sometimes we agree to nothing but this year we have said we will. Never bothered me before once kids and everyone else are happy but as this year has been so crap I'm glad we are now!

I asked for a new Nespresso machine!
