The view from our walk today, that is Manchester in the background and Winter Hill in the distance which was 26 miles, as the crow flies, from where we were standing.
We can often see the city but it’s usually in a haze.

Took the dog for a bracing walk down the beach beautiful but a keen easterly wind. Walked back up thro the village.
