Joint family gifts

Does anyone give joint gifts for a family?

We have to get gifts for a family of 6 - two parents, two preteen girls and two younger boys.

I get so fed up of getting them gift cards every year and receiving them too and also spending out so much money on them when we only see or speak to them around birthdays and Christmas!

We have to get them something (to prevent a family argument ) but I have no ideas of alternatives!

A big Christmas piñata, fill with chocolates and sweets (individually wrapped ones) make sure it comes with (or buy separately) a stick and blindfold 👍🏻

I usually get my brother’s family a family present - this year a board game, an escape game and a baking set - choc chip cookies mix, spatula and a Christmas oven mitten.

I’m doing joint couple gifts, various hampers.

I did think of a big family hamper with chocolate in it.
