Returning tickets

I have to return our tickets to ATD due to our holiday been cancelled.
Would it be best to pay the insurance or are they insured once sent through recorded delivery?

I had to return ours to OA, when I went to the PO I told them the value and they told me what type of postage would cover it, it was expensive from recollection x

Royal Mail signed for is �50 max compensation so think I'd go for Special Delivery.

Think I will do the special delivery as theres nearly �2500 worth of tickets. Thanks for advice.
