Surprise! WDW Jul/Aug 2014 - Pre-trip

Having booked last October, the time is finally here! I have read and appreciated so many trip reports here, I feel I have to give back too.

The holiday begins at 5pm tomorrow, when work has ended, 18 hours from now

We don't fly til Saturday afternoon (LGW to MCO) on BA. But going to stay over the night before in a Gatwick hotel.

The most fun part is that the kids don't know. I've dropped only a few small hints and dd hasn't asked but DS has. I would tell him if he really wants to know but he's asked for me to keep it a surprise! The reveal will be an invitation from Mickey that appears after breakfast (just before we leave to check in) and then a disney notebook and new pens for the flight - May not seem much but they'll get what they want in Florida.

The plan:
2.5 weeks in total, staying offsite (Homewood Suites - includes breakfast buffet and weekday light dinner). 2 weeks disney and 2 weeks Universal tickets. A day at KSC (hope to see shuttle launch) and a day at Clearwater. Waterparks and shopping too.
FP+ all done (no I couldn't get A&E FP+), and have these ADRs:
Chef Mickey breakfast
O'hana breakfast
CRT lunch
Frozen Premium package (I rang the US number the day it was released)
Hollywood & Vine for Fantasmic
Planning all other meals in the popular mentioned restaurants - we intend to make wise and healthy choices...
