Ive used airmiles. Have read that norweign are fairly decent prices but not tried. I agree they are not cheap by any means though but unfortunately if you buy a return and don't use half of it some airlines I've heard put you on a black list (not sure how true this is).

We are doing a 15 night WBTA in Sept 17 with Princess Cruises.

We have booked out flight back through their flight system for £180 each.

Norweigan were coming in at arounnd £200 each incl luggage. nice flight time as you got all day in NYC too.

We've done one ways with Icelandiar and Norwegian. Norwegian were nicer planes and fly direct into our local airport (Gatwick).

Have a look at Skyscanner or Kayak for an overview of all prices.

Don't even bother looking at Virgin or BA ... they are very expensive for one ways.

Thomas Cook do a good one way flight price to Manchester if that's easier for you.

We are currently facing this dilemma, looks like we are going to book icelandair as we can get those back to our local airport (Birmingham)

Its mad how much a one way is compared to a return! I guess people don't do this often enough to warrant having decent priced one way on some of the major carriers.

Yep Norwegian & Icelandair both do one way reasonably and with Icelandair you can do a short stopover in Iceland as well.
