Getting Excited

I booked last November for this August (30 days to go) standard SUV was £357, on the invoice it also said the full price before discount was £644.
Todays price £779, Virgin Atlantic had been just above what I paid for a long time they were about £377. As Tom pointed out they put the prices up recently and are now £425, still less than most.
The thing to do is book early with someone who allows free cancellation and keep checking the prices.

Weirdly, the price for a full size SUV for three weeks in July 2017 comes out at;
Virgin Atlantic - £700
Virgin Holidays - £733

I did the quotes one after the other, not sure if there is some surge pricing going on.

Either way, it's cheaper than I paid for full size SUV this year (£860)!
Although I did stupidly only book with 30 days to go

We used rentalcars.com at the weekend when we went to payment page they had an additional 10% off there already discounted prices.
We also did straight to the counter with this company by using the Alamo confirmation number and ignoring the letters COUNT.
